The soil where Fernlands Sauvignon Blanc is grown is an ancient riverbed comprised of three unique terraces of free draining silty loam topsoil. There are 2,500 vines per hectare and all have 2-3 canes adding enhanced flavor concentration to each and every grape bunch.

This beer is named for the water connection fee imposed during our build out. It’s a lot of $$, but better than running a brewery on well water. Each batch made is slightly different because we let two yeast strains battle it out for most malt consumed. ABV 10.5%
Saisons, meaning ‘season’ in French were typically brewed in southern Belgium during the 19th century during winter months, and stored until summer months when they were given to farm workers as a form of hydration when water wasn’t suitable for drinking. Mike’s Saison is true to nature, but brewed all year long. ABV 5.5%
Massive late additions of Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops give this beer a strong tropical aroma and flavor. A simple grain bill of 2 row base malt, wheat, and flaked oats give this beer a beautiful full body; and the high protein content contributes to a pleasant haze. To further accentuate the tropical flavor and aroma we double dry hop this beer with Vic Secret hops. Vic Secret is a newer aroma hop out of New Zealand characterized by its strong tropical fruit flavors and aromas. Even with the massive amount of hops we use this beer comes in at only 35 IBUs; low in bitterness but huge in hop flavor. ABV 7%.
